I’m throwing it back to when I was 5(ish) years old. I fell in love with the house next door to my parents house. At 5 years old I wasn’t paying attention to the design or the yard — It was the memories created with the woman who lived in the house. Marge would welcome Alex and I into her home for hours of chatting, she would bring us home trinkets from her travels, and she’d plan parties for us to look forward to for when we were older. It’s hard to put all of our memories into one post. Marge was one of a kind. Fast forward to 2017 when Marge passed away and her home went up for sale. Her house was on the market for 4 months before I found out — It wasn’t even 5 hours later that we sent an offer and it was accepted. From what I’ve been told, many people would have bought this house had they known it was for sale. I throughly believe Marge was looking down from Heaven playing her hand in the sale — she knew how much I loved her house (and furniture).
The little girl in these photos is Marge’s great granddaughter. The Purmorts came over this fall for a quick shoot in the yard. Not only is Frankie a stinking cutie but its just so special to me to think that Marge was looking down with a big smile on her face during this shoot. Thanks for a fun shoot guys!!
