In my own home (inspired by the warmth and ease of a Nancy Meyers style aesthetic) I surround myself with framed, matted prints that remind me how meaningful these moments become when they’re printed and lived with, not just scrolled past.

It’s always different. Sometimes it’s a dad’s speech where he can’t quite get the words out. Sometimes it’s the way the bride’s mom squeezes her daughter’s hand before the aisle. Sometimes it’s everyone barefoot on the dance floor. That unpredictability is what keeps me in love with this work.

Some of my favorite galleries come from rainy days. Umbrellas, laughter, raindrops on tuxedo shoulders — it adds texture and life to the story. We’ll plan for it, embrace it, and most of all, we’ll make sure it feels like you.

While my family calls Northwest Ohio and Syracuse, Indiana home, my work takes me all over. Since 2011, I’ve photographed all along the coast of California, Alabama, Virginia, Nashville, Dallas, and New York City to name a few. Love rarely stays in one place, and neither do I.
