abigail + hunter // pierceton indiana wedding photographer [kaleidoscope event Venue + Winona Lake]
Abigail and Hunter’s wedding day felt like a full-circle moment in the best way. I first met them at sunset on Lake Wawasee, where Hunter proposed to Abigail along the water. After their proposal and engagement session, they officially booked their venue and us for both photography and videography. Seeing their story through from the very beginning to their wedding day made this one especially meaningful.
Getting Ready at Kaleidoscope 502
The day began at Kaleidoscope 502 Event Venue in Pierceton, Indiana, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful place to start. The bridal suite is one of those spaces that just works -- soft pink walls, multiple rooms, and plenty of natural light. It gave the entire morning a calm, elevated feel while still allowing everyone to spread out and enjoy the process.
Meanwhile, Hunter and the guys prepared in the groom suite, building anticipation for one of the most emotional parts of the day.
A First Look on the Staircase
Abigail and Hunter met for their first look on the staircase just outside the bridal suite. Between the stained glass windows, white walls, and natural light, this spot inside Kaleidoscope 502 is completely unique. It created a quiet, intentional moment before the day picked up pace.
Portraits in Winona Lake (and a Quick Stop at Port Winona)
Once everyone was ready, we loaded onto a bus and headed to Winona Lake, Indiana for portraits. It was one of the hottest days of the entire summer (the kind of heat you feel instantly) but you’d never know it from the images.
We moved between shade and full sun, intentionally using both to tell the story of their day while keeping everything feeling natural and relaxed. The wedding party made a quick stop into Port Winona for air conditioning and a round of jello shots.
A Ceremony Full of Meaning
Back at Kaleidoscope 502, guests gathered for the ceremony as Abigail walked down the aisle with her dad to meet Hunter. The venue’s architecture -- clean white walls, tall ceilings, and those signature stained glass details -- creates a setting that feels both modern and timeless.
It’s one of those spaces that doesn’t need much to feel complete.
An Intimate Reception at Kaleidoscope 502
The reception took place in the lower level of the venue, creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere for guests to settle in and celebrate. It felt intimate in the best way -- full of laughter, conversation, and a packed dance floor as the night went on.
Kaleidoscope 502 really offers the best of both worlds:
A bright, architectural main level perfect for ceremonies and portraits
A warm, tucked-away reception space that naturally brings people together
Abigail and Hunter’s wedding day was a perfect reflection of who they are -- thoughtful, fun, and completely present in each moment. From their proposal at Lake Wawasee to portraits in Winona Lake and a celebration at Kaleidoscope 502, every part of their story felt connected.
Even on one of the hottest days of the year, their day never felt full, joyful, and easy.
If you’re planning a wedding at Kaleidoscope 502 in Pierceton, Indiana, or anywhere throughout Warsaw, Fort Wayne, or Lake Wawasee, it’s truly a venue worth considering for its versatility, light, and one-of-a-kind character.
